TRD is the place where ideas evolve into typefaces. Here we document our research, development processes, technical experiments, and ongoing progress in digital typography.

Explore, test, and interact with our projects. In the near future, you’ll also be able to download, modify, and contribute to selected open-source typefaces released under the GPL, SIL Open Font License (OFL), and other compatible free software licenses.

By bringing together our experience with the contributions of a growing community of volunteers and collaborators, we strive to expand digital typography beyond traditional language boundaries, building comprehensive multilingual typefaces for as many writing systems as possible.
