Boreallys
Boreallys Open source Free font – version 1.306 Stable.

Boreallys is a serif typeface inspired by the elegance of classical Roman letterforms, reinterpreted through a contemporary editorial perspective. Its refined proportions, softly rounded serifs, and ornamental details recall the heritage of historical typography while embracing the clarity and versatility demanded by modern design. Rich stylistic alternates and ligatures provide designers with expressive typographic possibilities without compromising readability.

Created for projects that require sophistication, cultural depth, and timeless character, Boreallys bridges the authority of ancient inscriptions with the warmth of contemporary typography. It is particularly suited for publishing, luxury branding, cultural institutions, literature, invitations, and premium visual identities.

Concept:
“Where classical Roman heritage meets the elegance of the northern sky.”

Credits: Boreallys was designed by Luis Jaramillo (LJ Design Studios) and developed as an original typographic creation, made freely and dedicated especially to Alejandra Verbel.
